I designed my duck calls to have the ability to DEMAND DUCKS down from the sky when no other call can. I am not satisfied with a call until I would be proud to put it on my own lanyard.
The sound that my call makes, is best described as a dominate hen mallard. The call will be LOUD and RASPY !! Just like that ole hen mallard you hear barking at ducks on the water.
LOUD ..DOMINATE ..HEN MALLARD sounds are what is going to bring those STUBBORN or HIGH FLYING ducks into your decoys !! So quit blowing those other calls "AT DUCKS" . . and start "DEMANDING DUCKS" to come with a Committed Custom Call !!

Committed Custom Duck Calls are designed to be power calls. These calls are different than 95% of the calls being produced today. If you are looking for an "easy blowing call" like you'd find in a store, these calls are not for you. The calls are not designed to be "easy".. they are designed to be EFFECTIVE !! I do not make the calls in an attempt to sell the hunter to make a buck. I make calls that sell the ducks. I offer these calls to hunters across the world so they too can experiance the thrill. With patience and practice with my calls, they will control the ducks far better than your run of the mill call. Bottom line.
Volume wins in the field every single day when calling ducks. If you have the most realistic sounding, fanciest trick note blowing call on the planet, but it cannot get loud and demand ducks, you are already behind the 8 ball in a competition senario. And EVERYDAY your competing .. whether you know it or not. Competition can come in different forms. Whether its against the guys set up down the way OR in the form of bunches of ducks playing follow the leader in the air and you trying to break them. Ducks are very vocal creatures and respond to the dominate mature birds of the flock. Look at it this way. Your dog Sparky is over in the yard and you want him to come to you. You say "hey Sparky come here" casualy without much conviction .. well he may come .. but chances are hes not going to. Now... raise the volume of your voice with some aggression and say "SPARKY GET OVER HERE NOW !! " ... well you better bet most likely hes going to come this time !! Same thing holds true with the ducks.
My duck calls utilize a rubber"cork". This rubber is stretched fit into the notch and holds with a very tight compression fit against the reed and toneboard. Once the rubber comes out it WILL NOT go back in properly and you risk the chance of cracking the tab. The tight fitting rubber gives superior sound quality over natural cork and will not shrivel up / loose tone and need to be replaced like natural cork. Ive used the same reed and rubber in my personal calls since 2009 and NEVER have had to change it, nor expect to for a very long time.
Please do not tinker with the tune of the duck call reguardless of your skill level. Be patient and give the style of the call time to grow on you. My calls use "non dog eared" reeds (reed is cut flush at 90 degrees). "Dog earing" the reeds on my calls throws off the correct intended tune of the calls. The calls sent out are VERY precisely tuned and its taken me the experiance of tuning hundreds of calls to master this art on my specific calls. If for some reason you need a retune, I highly reccomend the easiest and least frustrating option is to send me the call back with $5 and I will retune it for you.
